Taste of New Tampa & Wesley Chapel
The Taste of New Tampa & Wesley Chapel will be the coolest ticket in town on Mar. 25. Act now--those tickets are on sale at the lowest price until Feb. 1 at TasteOfNewTampa.org.
There will be fun for kids, fabulous food, beer, wine and the entertainment will be very fine. Discounted tickets are available online through Mar. 9. Regular-priced tickets are available online through Mar. 21 and at the door the day of the event.
Proceeds from the Taste go to area nonprofits supported by the Rotary Club of New Tampa. “The Taste is more than foodie heaven, it’s philanthropic. Our 65 members raise and donate about $40,000 per year to our community through the Taste and the Wiregrass Wobble Turkey Trot. High school students will benefit from scholarships through the Greater Wesley Chapel Chamber of Commerce,” said Karen Frashier, president of the Rotary Club of New Tampa. The Rotary Club of New Tampa has raised and donated more than $1 million to charities since its founding in 1995.
Organizers expect nearly 50 restaurants as well as an adult beverage section with wine and craft beers. There’s a kid’s activity section, and a nationally known headliner will provide entertainment. Florida Hospital Center Ice will even have a skating rink open for those who want to try out the ice. The entertainment line-up includes the “Khakis,” a very good local teen cover band, the Bob Thompson Trio and the New Tampa Players.
Many businesses have stepped up to sponsor this event because of its 24-year history as the New Tampa and eastern Pasco County’s premier community event. You’ll find the sponsor list at www.tasteofnewtampa.org/sponsors.html/
