The Rebecca Penneys Piano Festival is underway at the USF School of Music. Piano students from all over the world travel to Tampa to participate in this tuition free festival with the acclaimed faculty. Listen for some of the festival’s best students this morning when Jung-Eun Kim plays a selection from the Bach Partita No. 4, Isabella Ma has a lovely Noel by Messiaen, and Natalie Pang plays the Andante from the Sonata No. 2 by Scriabin.

Max will be at our Sarasota Performance and Broadcast Studio to play the Bach Sonata No. 1 in G minor for Unaccompanied Violin. Max is no stranger to Sarasota! He first appeared at the Perlman Music Program Sarasota Winter Residency as a student, and young teen, 10 years ago! He has since returned to Sarasota many times with PMP alumni, participating in education outreach programs throughout the area, and most recently, joining the roster of the Sarasota Orchestra!
