Suzuki Students On Stage Again for Multi-Piano Concert

Suzuki Students On Stage Again for Multi-Piano Concert

World-renown Master Suzuki instructor Bruce Anderson and his assistant teachers will lead the spectacular biennial Suzuki Multi-Piano Concert at the University of South Florida.

Who says only adults can perform beautiful music?  Sixty of Bruce Anderson’s students, ranging in ages from age four to adult, will take turns in performing classical selections with precision and grace and most astonishing of all, in unison.  On four magnificent Steinway concert pianos, groups of children will play carefully chosen classical pieces simultaneously.

The general public is welcome to enjoy the children’s performance in the acoustically-designed auditorium at the USF Music Concert Hall.   The performance will be an inspirational showcase for the world-famous Dr. Shinichi Suzuki’s tried-and-true educational methods:  purposeful nurturing with efficient exercises.

Bruce Anderson is the master piano instructor for the Suzuki Talent Education of Florida, a nonprofit organization dedicated to furthering the ideals and teachings of Dr. Shinichi Suzuki of Japan.  Bruce Anderson is one of a handful of certified master teachers in the world who instructs other Suzuki teachers in international seminars across the globe.

At home in the Tampa Bay area, Bruce Anderson teaches students of all ages, beginning at age three.  His lessons are based on Dr. Suzuki’s belief that every child can learn to play the piano naturally.  A few select students also participate in the international 10-piano concerts in California and Japan.  Students study with Bruce Anderson throughout their childhood until they graduate from high school and move away.
