Rocket Club

Florida plays such a major role in space exploration, so it’s not a surprise that a number of college students are interested in rocketry and the science behind it. The USF Society of Aeronautics and Rocketry – or SOAR – traveled to Alabama earlier this year to take part in a NASA competition for the first time. University Beat recently joined SOAR as they launched two rockets to get ready for next year’s contest. Find out more on University Beat on WUSF Public Media.
