130 members of the USF Herd of Thunder Marching Band will start 2017 Italian style, as they’ve been invited to perform in the New Year’s Parade in Rome. In addition to bringing the kind of performances Italians normally only see from military bands, the students will perform in a cathedral and St. Peter’s Square. But before they take off, the Herd of Thunder is looking to lower the cost for students to make the trip. We’ll tell you how you can help on University Beat on WUSF 89.7
