Prison Debate (rebroadcast from 4/25/17)

Members of the USF Sarasota-Manatee criminology club faced a couple of challenges recently during a debate on reinstating the draft. First, they only had two weeks to prepare. Second, their opponents would have the “home field” advantage. That’s because the students were taking on a team of inmates at the Hardee Correctional Institution. Go behind the gates of the medium security prison to find out what happened – and what both sides learned – on University Beat on WUSF 89.7.
