For the first time in its 47 year history, NPR has a program, a podcast, targeting children – and it has a University of South Florida connection.
“Wow in the World” is co-hosted by NPR’s Guy Raz and Sirius XM’s Mindy Thomas, a graduate of USF. Mark Schreiner speaks to them on University Beat on WUSF 89.7 and finds out how they’re trying to make science and technology fun for young people – and here’s a hint: it involves poop.
