Pittsburgh – Philadelphia -- Cleveland -- Boulder, Colorado – all cities with outstanding musical ensembles. Some of them even specialize in playing baroque and early music! You can sample their compelling artistry this weekend as Sunday Baroque features great music-making from coast-to-coast.

Hour 2:
There are many fine performing ensembles in the US that specialize in Baroque and early music.  This weekend you can hear a few of them – they include period instrument groups in Chicago and Houston, and a young male vocal ensemble in New York. It’s an all-American ensemble celebration on Sunday Baroque this weekend.

Hour 3:
This is the weekend that the clocks “fall back” and daylight saving time ends, so what will YOU do with your extra hour on Sunday?  We turn back the clock every week on Sunday Baroque to enjoy music from a less complicated time -- the perfect antidote to our stressful, modern lives! I hope you’ll spend your extra hour this weekend with Sunday Baroque.

Hour 4:
More than forty years ago, harpsichordist Martin Pearlman and eight musicians got together to perform at churches in the Boston area. They grew into a professional orchestra and chamber chorus of 55 musicians now called Boston Baroque.  You’ll hear their performance of a Concerto by George Frideric Handel weekend on Sunday Baroque
